The Story

High quality ingredients are the single most important factor to us in making your cake a gourmet delight. Your cake is handmade fresh at our purpose built professional kitchen at Fettercairn, by master baker Bev. The flour we use is made the old fashioned way on traditional millstones, in small batches each day from organic wheat, rye and oats to preserve maximum flavour. The large fresh excellent tasting eggs we use are from chickens that roam free on Aberdeenshire farmland and the butter is from a local family run farm, all combined by hand to give a superior moist flavour. No additives or preservatives are used, just good wholesome natural ingredients. As you can see we are passionate about quality and taste.
If you choose your cake to be completely or part gluten / wheat free, rest assured it is made with the same attention to quality at our Bev’s Bistro kitchen in Holburn Street by Alan Bruce.

You have been planning every little part of your wedding day for months to get every detail just right, so why not choose us to put the same amount of effort and passion into making your bespoke wedding cake.


Your cake is set up at the venue by Bev to ensure it will enchant the eye and then enthral the taste buds. You will want to smell our handmade sugar flowers they look so impressive. All our cakes are delicious, simply stunning works of art, taking hours to create.
We work very closely with you and your venue on your big day so even if we have been to a venue a hundred times before, your day is completely unique to you and you will have your own ideas on your cake, how it is set up, the all-important cake photograph and its serving.
